CORBETT, Ore. -- A Corbett family wants answers and justice after their 22-year old son was murdered in Ecuador.
The victim's father told KGW his son was the victim of a cold blooded, calculated killing.
John Chamberlain believes his son was assassinated over money. It was hard-earned money that he was using to help people he cared about.
At just 22 years of age, Max Chamberlain was living his dream. He was in love with a girl and was in the process of building an apartment building on the beach.
“He loved Ecuador and he loved the town of Manta”, said Max's father John Chamberlain.
Max was an exchange student his junior year of high school in Manta. He returned to the city he loved last May after several very successful years running the A T & T store at Clackamas town center.
