PORTLAND - Job seekers will have a chance to make contact with several large local companies all under the same roof for an employment expo at the Oregon Convention Center Monday.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and admission is free.

“The room will be packed with local employers, business consultants, colleges and universities, non-profit organizations, guest speakers, program emcees and hosts ready to assist all qualified applicants in their job search process,” said Marti Peterson, with Business Builders International.

In addition to networking, job seekers may attend short workshops, get advice from business coaches and enter prize drawings during the job expo.

The Employment Expo is sponsored by Oregon NABVETS in association with Business Builders International.

The Oregon Convention Center is located at 777 NE M L King Boulevard in Portland.
