Halloween events around Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. - There was no shortage of spookiness to be had this year in Portland - for grown up ghouls and kids alike.

From haunted houses, mazes and graveyards to cemetery tours and costume contests, nearly every venue in town was luring monsters and mummies Saturday and Saturday night.

Friends of Lone Fir Cemetery tour.

Meet the Portland “residents” at their graves and hear the unusual circumstances surrounding their untimely departures from the ghostly guides.

SE 26th and Stark Tours start at 6 p.m. and last about 45 minutes. $5 suggested donation. http://www.friendsoflonefircemetery.org/

In Beaverton - the 13th door haunted house 8805 SW Canyon Lane 7 p.m.-midnight Friday and Saturday $15.
